Even the darkest storm clouds have a silver lining when the Son is shining behind them.

When we meet with the great emptiness and incapability within us to change ourselves and the trials and challanges seem huge, we should learn to recognize the silver lining of reflected light from our Savior who is molding and shaping us into his own image. Out of our weakness, but sincere willingness devoted to him, he can work miracles if we hand ourselves over to him. He has a purpose with everything - to reveal himself more and more in and through us.

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose. For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son… (Rom 8:28-29a)
